These earrings are cut from a cool porphyritic basalt. The large white crystals are feldspar floating in a mass of darker basaltic crystals invisible to the eye.
The stones are 24mm wide and hang 38mm on hammered 14k gold fill wire. The earrings weigh 4 grams each.
