These earrings are cut from my favorite stones: Afghan lapis, Utah Variscite, and Nevada epidote. Afghan lapis has been mined for thousands of years! Variscite, a cousin of turquoise, is much more rare, and comes from a few select mines in Utah. Epidote (chartreuse green) is my favorite rock/mineral hands down. It is found in abundance in most metamorphic ranges on Earth and cuts like a dream. I found this stuff up on the side of the road in Ione, NV, "the town that refused to die". It says that on their welcome banner. If you have ever found yourself in Ione we should talk.
The stones are 22x28mm and hang on hammered 14k gold-fill wire for a total earring length of 55mm.
All items are shipped USPS Priority with the USA and First Class going elsewhere.
