Oolite Earrings

These earrings are cut from a cool oolitic agate from southeast Oregon. Oolites are orbs of calcite that formed an ancient lake bed.

The stones are 42mm wide and hang 54mm on hammered sterling silver wire. The earrings weigh 4 grams each.
