These striped earrings are cut from two volcanic materials: black flood basalt and white volcanic ash, both collected in Oregon. They're backed for strength with green shale from Montana's billion year old Belt Supergroup.
The stones are 28mm wide and hang 38mm on hammered 14k gold fill wire. The earrings weigh 4 grams each.
